Well ladies and gentlemen I have returned from the Carribbean cruise of a lifetime with the love of my life. I can still say that Elizabeth is the love of my life because neither one of us ever got the urge to throw each other overboard. And another great bit of news from the trip was that Elizabeth did not suffer any sea sickness while aboard the ship. Not to say she did not while we were at the beach in Aruba. Just ask her.
Obviously we survived Hurricane Sandy. The best part is we didn't even know it was a hurricane until a few days after it hit they US coast. Our captain actually sailed around the eastern side of the storm. And we only experienced moderately rough seas. But sadly, in 20/20 hindsight I feel horrible for those on the east coast who were negatively impacted by Hurricane Sandy. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Upon my return to Colorado and back to the digital world I checked the site to read Daniel Galhardo of TenkaraUSA and Kevin Fricke's posts. I greatly enjoyed reading Daniel's guest blog in regards to the One Fly Theory found in Tenkara. I hope that it has maybe helped some of the readers here to understand a bit more about one aspect of Tenkara. So thank you on many levels Daniel for such a great post and such a clear and precise description of this subject.
I can also not forget the wonderful post from Kevin Fricke on his attraction to Tenkara. (Just as a side note, I went fishing with Kevin up BC in Colorado yesterday! Thanks Kevin, it was awesome even though you showed me up. LOL.) Kevin was hesitant to write up a post but I badgered him into doing it anyway. I am super pleased with the responses that we have gotten on his post. Please continue to send in your comments so that I can forward them to Kevin or you can post them to any of the Tenkara Facebook pages.
The fishing was awesome yesterday although it was cold and a little slow. I only caught one on a Killer Kebari. But a day with even one fish is a great day.
Before I forget I also want to thank all of my loyal readers for coming to my blog on a consistent basis even when there appears to be no action from my end. I intend to remedy that as I have stated in a previous post. I look forward to hearing more from all of you in regards to any and all posts that you might find here.
There are a number of reviews that will be appearing shortly so keep your eyes open.
I know this is another text heavy post but I am still working on getting the pictures that we took on the cruise organized.
